Rhythmic And Harmonic Elements

Ambient Noises contains 286 loops and samples spread over 20 construction kits. The extended loops are between 20 and 30 seconds long, the tempo ranges from 66 up to 96 BPM. Each kit has one eight bars long part with synth- and sub basses, pads, sfx sounds, electric pianos, ambiences and noises. The drums are split into bassdrums, snaredrums, claps, hihats, electronic percussion and drum fx. A complete drum mix is also available for each kit.

Unsettling, Hypnotic And Hugely Atmospheric

All construction kits contain additional loops that are not used in the main mix. These add-on sounds were created using analog hardware effects and can be used to create new variations for each kit on the fly.

In addition to the pitch and tempo manipulation, Elastik’s central Loopeye is a detailed loop-editing tool. A large number of parameters can be adjusted, including slice-based pitch-shifting, volume and pan, reverse, formant, filter and resample. Elastik even includes a random sound replacement function called INSPIRE: one click on the Inspire button and Elastik will select an alternative loop, providing just that bit of additional inspiration when you need it. All this can be done on the fly and without leaving the Elastik environment. You can define which soundbanks will be used in the Inspire tool with the new Inspire browser.
