Reggae Journey 4 is the next leg of our tour of classic Reggae riddims with a collection of construction kits built around Rocker and Stepper grooves. The syncopated hihats and rhythm guitars root you firmly in the world of Reggae, but the kick and the snare provide a little more obvious drive, whether that's via the kick on the 1 and the 3 for the Rocker feel, or four-to-the floor for a Stepper rhythm. Reggae Journey 4 provides a truly authentic slice of classic Reggae riddims guaranteed to take your audience on a journey straight to the musical heartbeat of the Caribbean.
With 1.8 GB of samples and 473 loops, each of the five comprehensive construction kits contains 3 or 4 main musical parts and dedicated intro and outro sections. The original recording tempos range from 70 to 130 BPM but both tempo and pitch can be easily adjusted using Elastik's powerful feature set. The kits feature extended loops (up to 30 seconds) providing plenty of performance variation when arranging into a full-length track.
Drums are provided as premixed loops as well as single tracks for bass drum, snare drum, hihat, toms and cymbals. Additional percussion includes shakers, bongos and timbales (both with and without dub-style effects applied) and provides additional rhythmic options. The electric bass loops deliver plenty of deep low end and complement the drum grooves perfectly. Multiple electric guitar parts are included, providing options for picked parts, offbeat rhythms, and licks with obvious effects applied. Other instrument parts include acoustic piano, organ, clavinet and brass, allowing you to add plenty of musical interest into your tracks.
The Rocker and Stepper riddims of Reggae Journey 4 are the perfect way to complement the first three installments of the Reggae Journey series. Whether you're a media composer, producer or songwriter, Reggae Journey 4 provides a slice of classic Reggae riddims ready for your own productions. With a truly authentic sound, round out your exploration of Reggae's classic styles with Reggae Journey 4.
